We had decided on a local DJ and friend to provide the disco which was to be our only entertainment. We knew it would be a massive night of disco deliciousness (to quote DJ Dave) :) Linky at the bottom of post.
UNTIL
Mark and Becky said ....."come and try our photo booth"
Photo booths are becoming more popular at weddings but we had not been to any function that had this entertainment before. So we decided to book Kool Booths (linky at the bottom of post) as well as our favourite disco dj.
This would be a hit at any function not just weddings.
The photo booth was a great hit with our guests. I did not think I would ever see my mum like that or ever will again :) I thought that guests would go in maybe once or twice and not use it again, but we have hundreds of photos showing different guests going into the booth together, having a laugh and a photo to remind them of the night. All the guests went in at least once. It was great because I was grabbing guests I do not see often and having a fun photo with them. Not just the usual posed wedding photos!
In the timed packaged we got unlimited photos, one copy of photos for guests to take home, one copy in an album for us and a memory stick with all the photos taken on the night.
Mark and Becky are very friendly and approachable. They were contactable by both phone and email and we had good contact with them from day of booking right up to the day. Mark came along with the booth on the day and helped our guests to fill in the guest book.
Here are a selection of our photos,

| This is how the prints come out. Wording and background was chosen by us before the day One copy went to the guest, one in our album (supplied by Koolbooths) |
Kool Booths had 100% entertainment factor with 100% participation from our guests ranging from ages 4 to 75!

I've heard of couples leaving disposable cameras on the tables at their wedding reception, so that guests can take snaps as part of the wedding photo album, but the photo booth idea is even better!
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteIt was such fun. I had photos taken several times with different guests.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, you all look like you were having so much fun. I wish I'd known about this for our silver wedding anniversary party last year - oh well, there's always our golden anniversary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such fun! Great specs, wouldn't mind a pair of those!
ReplyDeleteUnusual, yes, and FUN!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great night and there were a lot of guests using the free poster size photo downloads available from our website in the days after too.

This looks such fun! I'll have to get married all over again and hire a booth. Terrific idea, and thanks for sharing!!!
